Each course runs independently. You may begin with whichever is most relevant to where you are in your financial life right now.

Income Investing with Local Instruments

- Fee and portfolio analysis
Retirement Income and Withdrawal Sequencing
Nine weeks on withdrawal sequencing from CPF LIFE, SRS, private investments, and rental income. Covers tax-aware sequencing under Singapore's framework, household spending coordination, and contingency planning. Each participant develops a personal drawdown document.

Why Study With Bumi Capital
An Environment Built Around Your Stage of Life
Reading-Led Learning
Each course is structured around weekly chapters and workbooks, not video streams. Suitable for learners who think through written material more effectively.
Singapore-Specific
CPF, SRS, SGX, HDB, SSB — every topic is addressed within Singapore's actual regulatory and financial environment, not adapted from overseas curricula.
Small Group Format
Cohorts are kept small so that discussions reflect genuine questions from peers at similar life stages — not a lecture hall or a webinar crowd.
Paced for Busy Adults
Sessions are spaced weekly, with material that can be reviewed at your own pace between meetings. There is no expectation of daily study hours.
Tangible Outputs
You leave each course with a reference document — a balance sheet, a workbook, or a personal drawdown plan — that stays useful after the course ends.
No Products Sold
Bumi Capital is an education provider, not a financial advisory firm. No investment products are sold during or after any course. The focus stays entirely on knowledge.

Annex
Questions We Are Often Asked
Who are these courses designed for?
The courses are designed for Singapore residents in their forties and older who want to think more clearly about their household finances, retirement sources, and investment options. No prior finance background is needed for the introductory course.
Are these courses conducted in person or online?
Courses are conducted in person at our Phillip Street office, with reading materials distributed digitally. We prefer face-to-face sessions because the group discussion element works better in a room than on a screen.
How much time should I expect to set aside each week?
Each week involves one two-hour session and roughly two to three hours of independent reading and workbook exercises. The courses are designed around working adults — there is no expectation of daily study.
Will I be advised on specific products or investments?
No. Bumi Capital is a financial education provider, not a licensed financial advisory firm. Courses cover how instruments work, how to evaluate them, and how to think about them — not what to buy. If personal advice is needed, we can suggest suitable channels.
Can I take the courses in sequence?
Yes. The three courses form a natural progression — from household fundamentals to income investing to retirement planning. They can also be taken individually depending on where you feel most uncertain.
What is the cohort size?
We limit each cohort to twelve participants. This keeps discussions specific and allows the facilitator to address individual circumstances within the group setting.
What is the enrolment process?
Send us a brief note through the contact form or by phone. We will confirm course dates, answer any remaining questions, and send a payment link. Places are confirmed upon receipt of course fees.
